There are people that critique Canva, but it is actually an amazing resource to take advantage of with your business. AND- you can still do so much with a free membership! If you want cohesive templates with a consistent theme and color palette, I’m your gal! Whether it’s story templates, main feed post templates, or graphics help for your website, I got you! Having this consistency is super important for having a memorable and cohesive brand representation!

You mentioned charities? Where can I find the charities I can choose from?
Yes! Here at moon + honey, your dollar doesn’t just support our small business, but it makes a difference! Every quarter, we switch out the 4 charities that clients with the full moon package can choose from, and you can find them on the charity banner that is located on our home page!
What do I need to bring to the table in order for this partnership to run smoothly?
Aside from the obvious- a business, excitement, and yourself- you need to be willing to also provide photos and video content for your social media! We will work together on scheduling, prompts for posts, photos, IG reels, and all of the logistics behind your account, but you are the face of your brand, and your client and audience want to see you, babe! Don’t worry, we will ease into that if it scares you, and I promise you I will be beside you cheering you on. Remember: we can do hard things! You got this!
Do you offer any kinds of discounts?
Fantastic question! We do offer a 18% discount on all of our packages to BIPOC, to represent the wage gap that BIPOC (more specifically, women of color) face. As a white, queer-owned business, it is not lost on us that our privilege in our whiteness has caused harmful damage to BIPOC for hundreds of years. And the very infrastructure that this country is built upon, has been made to serve white people, and tear down BIPOC. So the least we can do as a collective, is give when we can. And we do not desire any applause; this is the bare minimum, and should become a standard amongst other businesses. What moon + honey is about, is empowering queer and women-owned businesses. And we are aware of the disproportionate biases of the business world when it comes to BIPOC biz owners, as well as the lack of resources. So we are here, to show up and empower.
Do I need to pay a deposit to book with you?
Yes, you do! For my packages, I require the first month’s payment as a non-refundable retainer to move forward, and then we will discuss the payment plan depending on which contract you choose. For my a la carte options, its a 50% non-refundable retainer to secure services with me!
Did you go to school for marketing?
I actually did not! I have 3 Associate’s degrees, but not in marketing. I have taken an intuitive business course, however, and I have also grown up through, and with, the evolution of social media and have always been very savvy with it. I have taught myself a lot about social media marketing, through research, videos, and exposure. I ended up being the social media gal for multiple positions I have held in the past because I love doing it, and am great at it as well. After taking an intuitive business course, I began a spiritual awakening and in that, moon + honey was born! I also LOVE being creative and empowering women and queer folk, so I knew that this was something I was made to do!
What if I do not identify as queer/woman? Would you work with a business like mine?

Thank you for asking this question. So, as my mission states: I empower queer + women business owners. This is my specialty, or niche. So, this is not to say I will never work with a business outside of that scope. But, rather, the majority of my clientele will be business owners that fall under those categories. If I believe in your business, we vibe well (as the kids say), and our values align, I will absolutely be delighted to work with you!
